Technological advances in large screen, high resolution video displays have revolutionized the world of outdoor advertising. Macy's Flagship Department store, located at the heart New York Cities Herald Square, understands the power this kind of dynamic billboard has in drawing customers off the sidewalk and into their store.

Content producers for Macy's Jumbotron Video Screen must create exciting and graphically bold presentations that cut through the visual clutter of America's busiest city.

American Montage, in association with Imelt, conceived this motion graphics advertisement for Macy's Clothing department. Based loosely on the idea of a photographer viewing proof sheets, this After Effects project was produced solely by animating pre-existing catalogue images.

With Lebenthal Municipal Bonds, AMI was asked once again to create a memorable commercial on a limited budget.

The spot was produced in three different shoots. Mr. Lebenthal, the spot's talent, was shot in Betacam at Stable Films,a sound-stage in the Tribeca district of Manhattan.

The black and white footage of New York City was shot over a few hot summer days in New York on 16mm. The third and final elements -- nuts, bolts and a piggy bank -- were filmed at AMI's studio, against green screen.

One of our close friends -- the vivacious, talented and intoxicating Angelique Doudnikova -- is friends with Paul Blum, owner of the amazing and bizarre magic, horror and costume shop, Abracadabra Superstore. They wanted to do an unforgettable Halloween commercial for as little money as possible. We obliged with one of our green screen extravaganzas. It was so much fun we ended up doing Christmas commercial too.
