Referencing an Alain Resnais location photo book Gilles explained location scouting through a fictitious film about terrorism in the New York City area. For some of the images in the exhibit Peress utilized Eric's contacts with the Newark SWAT team and his knowledge of some of the more interesting subterranean locales for several photo and video shoots.
